My Adventure into Black and White

 These pictures have each been edited and turned black and white.  I really like black and white photographs, but I know these pictures still definitely need a lot more editing before they can be considered great black and white photos.

Winter is Coming

These are unedited photos I took about a month ago. There was this beautiful, mulit-tone tree I couldn't resist capturing. I know I need to do a lot of editing and cropping on these, but I wanted to share them anyways. I took them with my smartphone and have RAW copies to edit.

Montana Sunsets

These photos were taken up on the Rims a couple of weeks ago with my smartphone. I have jpg and RAW copies of each. They are unedited.

Share 2 and Critique #3

 The changes I made for this picture included changing the crop and attempting to minimize the amount of blown-out sky.  I still feel like the sky is too blown-out, but I am not sure how to fix it still.

For this photograph I lowered the brightness to get rid of the blown-out leaf tips.  I also changed the crop just a bit.

Both of the above photographs are edited.  The top one I posted last week as a normal blog post, but I edited it a bit more and would like your critiques.  The bottom photograph is slightly edited, but I didn't want to get too crazy with it.
